Our Philosophy
We want our patients to feel that their experience in our office is remarkable, unmatched and enjoyable. We desire to build relationships with our patients and the community. Our reward is the positive contribution we make towards our patients’ happiness, health, and self-esteem. Our mission is to serve our patients and their families with compassionate hearts and outstanding results.
Appointments
Our office works hard to accommodate all our patients’ busy schedules. We don’t want our kids in treatment to miss time from school. Please keep in mind how challenging it is to accommodate everyone’s scheduling needs. To ensure fairness and consistency in scheduling we have the following scheduling guidelines:
Scheduling Appointments
We respect your time and want to make sure that each visit with us is scheduled properly and performed efficiently.
We strive to keep the amount of time that you are away from work or your child is away from school to a minimum. To do this we follow the 80-20 principal, which means that 80% of your visits will be shorter appointments to guide and monitor the movement of the teeth. Time is held for routine appointments during lunch and after school hours. Longer procedures, such as when the braces are placed, removed, an appliance is delivered, or for an emergency bracket repair must occur at other times, such as the morning or early afternoon.
Our space-age high technology orthodontic archwires and brackets continue to actively move your teeth for 8 to 12 weeks, enabling the majority of your treatment to take place with fewer appointments. When your treatment is almost complete will we be seeing you at shorter treatment intervals (4 to 6 weeks) in order to finish your treatment as quickly as possible.
Late Arrivals
We receive a lot of positive feedback for consistently running on time. We respect your time and do everything we can to complete your appointment during the time allotted. Please remember that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you may need to reschedule so we can see all of our patients on-time. Out of respect for the practice and consideration of others, please be on time for your appointments.
Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Missed appointments result in longer overall time in treatment. We understand some circumstances cannot be avoided and that you will occasionally need to reschedule. As a courtesy we ask that you call our office at least 48 hours in advance so we can offer your appointment to another patient. Our appointments are scheduled 8-10 weeks in advance on a first-come first-serve basis and therefore you may need to reschedule during school hours. For this reason it is best to make every effort to keep your regularly scheduled visit.
For your convenience, we are pleased to offer an automated e-mail and text message reminder system for your appointments. This complimentary service also allows you to securely check your appointments and account information 24-hours a day on our website. Please ask our front desk staff how to enroll in this complimentary service.
